Team Account

AtlasCloud provides team accounts to facilitate collaboration among multiple users by sharing various resources. Each user can create only one team account but can join multiple teams created by others.

Creating a Team

When creating a team, you need to:

  • Provide a team name (maximum 48 characters)
  • Optionally transfer funds (in whole numbers) from your personal account to the team account

Managing Team Membership

Switching Teams

Users who belong to one or more teams can view and switch between their teams using the dropdown menu in the top-right corner.

Inviting Users

Team administrators (see RBAC for details) can:

  • Generate invitation links from the Team page
  • Assign specific roles to invitation links
  • Share links with potential team members

Note:

  • Invitation links are permanent and reusable
  • Multiple users can join using the same link and will receive the same role
  • Delete unused invitation links for security

Joining a Team

Prerequisites:

  • Must have a registered account
  • Must be logged in to use invitation links

Leaving a Team

  • Any team member can leave the team
  • Exception: The team creator cannot leave

Team Deletion

Only the team creator can delete a team. Before deletion:

  • Ensure all billable resources (tasks, storage, etc.) are cleaned up
  • All team members will automatically leave the team
  • Remaining team balance will be transferred to the creator's personal account
